SportsNetAmerica.com is an internet sports webcasting
network featuring live and archived sporting
events from the professional to the high school level,
as well as weekly shows with
our own SportsNetAmerica personalities.
SportsNetAmerica continues to
cover the world of sports. Our credits include live coverage of
the Breeders Cup World Thoroughbred Championships, Harness
racing's Hambletonian, Meadowlands Pace and Breeders Crown
events, The PrimeTime Basketball Shootout featuring the top high
school teams across the country and the New Jersey High School
Hockey championships produced in conjunction with Comcast, and
the Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association championship.
SportsNetAmerica is also the home of the New Jersey Ironmen
indoor soccer team of the MISL.
SportsNetAmerica recently
added an exciting new area to the site, allowing sports fans to
upload their own sports video content.
SportsNetAmerica was founded
in March of 2004 by Mike Curci, a veteran radio and television
broadcaster in the New York metropolitan area for the past 24
years. Curci has worked as a featured television anchor for
NewSport, a national sports network, as well as handling
play-by-play of minor league baseball, the MetroStars of MLS,
and various networks including Comcast and Metro TV. He
currently is a featured host of "Racing From The Meadowlands" on
Fox Sports Net, and Racing From Monmouth Park on TVG, as well as host of several shows on SportsNetAmerica.
Along with Curci, principal
SportsNetAmerica partners include Jeffrey Karlovitch,
Vice-President of Technology and owner of web development
company Get Real Interactive, Michael Maguire, Executive
Vice-President of Marketing and Development, formerly of Wall
Street firm Henderson Bros., and Jim Marano, Vice President of
Community Relations, general manager of Marano and Sons auto
dealership in New Jersey.
